Fees and Cancellation Policy

Fees for paediatric assessment and treatment: 

All professional services provided to you will be charged at an hourly rate of $193.99. I do not accept cash and payments can be made via bank transfer. Professional services include face to face work with you and/or your child, and non face to face work such as travel time to and from locations, emails, calls, letter writing, additional report writing, and attending stakeholder meetings.

I am not a registered NDIS provider so I am only able to work with you or your child if they are “self managed” or “plan managed”. I do not offer bulk billing arrangements under Medicare but you may be eligible for a part rebate – please check with Medicare directly. You may also be eligible for a part rebate from your private healthcare provider under your extras cover but please clarify this with your provider directly. 

I aim to communicate accurate estimates for assessments, reports, and other services. However, these are estimates only and therefore not binding due to unpredictable factors that sometimes accompany paediatric work. I will, to the best of my ability, communicate and agree a change of fees with as much notice as possible. 

Please note I require full and direct payment for all services provided. Payment for assessments are required in stages as communicated, and payment for in person treatment, telehealth sessions and other non face to face work is required at the time of completion and/or at the time of invoice raised. If you are plan managed I will send invoices directly to your plan manager, with payment required within one business day. 

Please note that if any payments are not settled as stated, I will unfortunately have to place all services for your child on hold until payment has been received, and they may lose their particular therapy timeslot and/or have to be placed back on my waiting list if no other slots are available at the time. 

Online consultation: 

Online consultation sessions are charged at an hourly rate of $200, and payment is required at the time of booking.

Clinical supervision, mentoring and coaching: 

Supervision, mentoring and coaching sessions are charged at an hourly rate of $200, and payment is required at the time of booking, or at the time of invoice raised depending on our individual arrangement. 

Cancellation policy: 

• I understand that many unexpected events happen in our lives, but unfortunately I cannot absorb the cost for late or last minute cancellations and fees will therefore apply. 
• All appointments that are cancelled less than 24 business hours in advance, including “no shows”, will incur a 100% cancellation fee. 
• All appointments cancelled between 24-48 business hours will incur a 50% cancellation fee. 
• All appointments that are cancelled more than 48 business hours in advance will incur no cancellation fee. 
• If you and/or your child cancel three or more sessions in a row, regardless of whether this was within the cancellation period, I reserve the right, in consultation with you, to end therapy and/or put it on hold and offer the slot to another client, until such time as you are more able to regularly engage in sessions. 

Please note that “business hours” refers to Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, and does not include weekends. For example, a 9am Wednesday appointment that is cancelled on the Monday prior at 9am, will be considered to have a 48 business hour notice period and will incur no cancellation fee. However, a 9am Monday appointment that is cancelled on the Friday prior at 9am, or over the weekend, will be considered to have a notice period between 24 to 48 business hours, and will incur a 50% cancellation fee. In this scenario, the appointment needs to be cancelled by the Thursday prior at 9am to incur no cancellation fee.
